I do hope that you have been keeping up, but still, that little crate was as dangerous as expected. I will be on patrols, it would seem.
FROM: michaelis.sebastian@cdc.org
It surely goes without saying, but if you are in danger, please call out to me. I will be by your side in but a moment.
[ then, a few minutes later: ]
FROM: michaelis.sebastian@cdc.org
On a different note, I advise you read my file, should you have not already. There are details which pertain to you, young master.

[ He wishes he were there to see Ciel struggle, but at the same time, if he were, Ciel would refuse to text him at all. Alas... ]

Will you be investigating? I am purposefully staying away, since I find it unwise to interfere in matters of which I am not fully aware.
FROM: michaelis.sebastian@cdc.org
I am uncertain. I can look into the matter and ask a superior, but not now. Once our additional crew member has been captured, perhaps?
FROM: michaelis.sebastian@cdc.org
I imagine this would draw attention the the fact that my information had been changed, however, and there are those who have already read it, I am sure.

Understood. I shall look into it when things are quieter.
FROM: michaelis.sebastian@cdc.org
I do, yes. But I do not believe that it is likely, and I would not recommend sharing the idea unless I was more certain.
FROM: michaelis.sebastian@cdc.org
It would be possible for me, technically speaking, and I ran into another demon when we were on Selena. I did not know him, but he knew us.
FROM: michaelis.sebastian@cdc.org
However, it would be different. I have been attempting to seek out the creature, if only to pinpoint it, but it is evasive. Even for me.

No. It was the first thing I checked for, and why I did not mention it.
[ because he was hella thirsty and it was uncomfortable... ]
FROM: michaelis.sebastian@cdc.org
He was odd, to say the least. I believe he was contracted to a young nobleman I met. Do you know anything of Earl Alois Trancy?

Considering that sphere, it is quite possible. I will alert you to their presence should they reappear.
FROM: michaelis.sebastian@cdc.org
I assumed the same as us, that they were to be contracted, but that may not have been the case. The conversations were not informative.

First and foremost, welcome to the CDC. In case you haven't heard, you've been recruited to destroy a planet or ten in exchange for securing your own planet. I assure you it's as thrilling as it sounds.

My name is Isha Devan, and you, our newest minion, are on Orange Team, the same as mine. I am of unit Tengu, for which I feel the need to apologize for our designated unit leader Pilot who seems fond of issuing announcements. Report to him personally or via his announcement for further instructions, if you haven't already.

Should you have questions, I may be able to provide answers, if you are asking the right questions. Enjoy your stay, love.

[ Which, conveniently, we now know! Regardless, in the "morning" (since the simulations of day and night were all artificial), Sebastian is at Ciel's room bright and early, since there are certain things to discuss as well as his usual duties, since he would hardly abandon them. If only. He knows better than to think simply because of their situation that Ciel would expect anything but the usual, at least to start.
So, as such, there's a very light, polite knock at the door first. Luckily, that knock should be so familiar by now that Ciel will know immediately who it is. ]

[ That's enough acknowledgement for him, so finding the door conveniently unlocked or otherwise accessible for the purpose of the thread, he opens it and steps inside with a cool smile. In one hand is a tray, though not the lavish silver trays that Ciel is much more used to. It's just a simple, plastic cafeteria tray, though Sebastian is making every effort to retain as much normalcy as possible. He'll be able to smell the breakfast immediately, though it's also quite a step down from his usual breakfasts... ]
Good morning, young master.
[ He walks to Ciel's bedside to half bow and half offer the tray for him to take. There's no poached salmon here, just simple, usually plain oatmeal, though Sebastian has at least made it less bland by the addition of sugar, cinnamon, and some fruit. There's an orange as well (which Sebastian will peel as they talk), and a steaming hot cup of tea, though it's also cafeteria tea, so it's time to lower your standards, Ciel. In addition, there's also a neatly folded stack of papers, all handwritten, since Sebastian has already learned to not trust sending anything sensitive over the blackglass. ]
Your breakfast, though my apologies that it is not quite your usual fare.

[ Honestly, he's surprised that the subpar meal isn't immediately thrown in his face, but at the very least, it does speak to Ciel understanding the situation, which he's appreciative of. He watches his expression silently, looking for the minute signs that he'll certainly take as praise, but at the face, he just laughs softly and shrugs. Expected, honestly.
Though by the time he moves to the report, Sebastian simply waits patiently and dutifully to address any additional questions or concerns, and also as expected, Ciel gets hung up on the absolute best crew member. His expression is serious, as it always is when it comes to cats, and he answers with a perfect, even tone. ]
I am not pretending, young master. Mogget is a the greatest asset upon this ship, I am certain.
[ Well. He is. To Sebastian alone... ]
